The Director of Administration, Mrs. Esther Ng’ong’ola, officially handed over certificates of participation to departments
and institutions under the Ministry of Transport and Public Works that took part in the 36th Malawi International Trade Fair.
The certificates were awarded by the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) in recognition of the Ministry's successful participation in the Trade Fair, which provided a platform to showcase services, projects, and achievements within the transport and public works sectors.
Participating departments and institutions included the Lilongwe Handling Company Ltd, Construction Industry Regulatory Authority (CIRA), Airport Developments Limited - ADL, Civil Aviation Authority of Malawi (CAA), Railways Department, Air Cargo Malawi Limited, Buildings Department, Plant Vehicle Hire and Engineering Services (PVHES), Roads Authority Malawi (RA), Marine Department, and the Directorate of Road Traffic and Safety Services (DRTSS).
The Trade Fair proved to be a valuable and enriching experience, offering an opportunity to engage with students, industry stakeholders, investors, and members of the public. Through these interactions, the Ministry and its agencies shared information on their mandates and services, received feedback, and strengthened relationships with key stakeholders.
